Having an active dog can be exhausting. It doesn’t help that I strained a muscle in my foot last month, so I haven’t been taking him out for walks as much as he would like. So what to do to exercise the dog?
How about seeing if he can catch a cup of water?
Ready?!
And here’s the landing. You can see how he’s been tearing up the lawn.
Wonderful photos! My, he’s grown! š
They’re not puppies for long. Three or four months and then they start looking like adult dogs, while still having the energy of a puppy.
Wow! Cool captures!! š
Thanks, it’s the ‘Burst’ feature on my smartphone- those are some of the better photos from about 100 or so taken in about ten minutes!
Great pictures! You got some great captures with the water droplets, etc. I hear you about active dogs… Jasper just about runs me ragged some days…
Thanks, he’s still a puppy at about 8 months old, still has a lot of the puppy energy.
We have a 100 lb Rottweiler that thinks she’s still a lap dog.
Aww, must be a handful, but it sounds like a happy dog.
Holy mackerel! That’s quite a leap. And thank you for swinging by the Ranch and for the follow. We ā¤ļø visitors, especially ones who can jump to the moon and back. š
Thanks, good luck with your blog!
Right back atcha. š
Great pictures! Anyway, called by to leave my thanks for your recent decision to follow Learning from Dogs. Feel free to share any of your dog stories over at my place.
Thanks, I’m glad I came across your blog!
In good shape, shiny coat – looks happy! To heck with the lawn! Great shots, Peter.
Thanks, and thanks for the ‘Follow’. I’ve always admired your dedication to your subject.
My pleasure, Peter. I thank you.
Reblogged this on Paws N Reflect.
OhMyGosh! You don’t need fancy dog toys… just a little water and possibly liked a snowball in the winter. Can he turn off all this energy when he comes indoors? Great photo captures!
I wish he could turn off the energy! Ive been up late tossing a big knotted ball of yarn down the main hallway, just trying to tire him out.
So sorry to hear about your pup š„ he looked like an amazing companion and quite the looker!
Thank you, it was very sudden. The vet told us that cancer in such a young dog is rare, and since they’re not fully developed as puppies, they die quickly if they get it.
I’m sure you gave him the best life possible
