We planted this honeysuckle the year Mr. C was born. In five years it has taken over its corner of the garden, latching onto the adjacent wood picket fence. I had to remove most of the fence since it was infested with carpenter ants, but this section seemed fine so I left it. I’m not sure if I could remove it now anyway as the honeysuckle seems to have plans to send its tendrils out to grab hold of what’s left of it.

On the other side of the fence is this perennial. A type of aster maybe?

  1. Hi Peter,
I like your garden plants. That is beautiful to plant anything the same year a child is born.
I have honkeysuckle that creeps through from our neighbor’s yard… But I forgive such a sweet invader. 🙂
